Hi there,

as the conference is getting closer I'd like to give a small update on
what's going to happen in Fulda in March.

Let's start with *other* things happening:

* Antonio Ugia (http://www.antonio-ugia.de/) holds an exhibition on
abstract art in the Hotel Maritim.
* You can visit the bronze age graveyard in the Vonderau Museum, from
Tuesday to Sunday 10am to 5pm.
* Daily city tours and a glance into the vaults of the cathedral
* If you're an Ukulele fan, there's a concert at 8pm on Wednesday in the
Orangerie (the United Kingdom Ukulele Orchestra plays)
* And if you stay until Saturday you have the Berlin Comedian Harmonists in
the Schlosstheater

If none of that is of interest to you, well, just come to the User
Conference :-)

On a more serious note we found that our ticketing structure is ..
difficult. It makes sense, but it's probably not the best naming etc. .
I've tried to improve that:

We have three ticket types available:

*T1* – Basic Training only (a one-day ticket for Tuesday)
*
*
*T2* – Advanced Training and the conference (Wednesday, Thursday and
Friday) with the Option O1 if you would like to attend the RRD workshop
instead of the OpenNMS advanced training.
*
*
*T3* – Conference Ticket – Thursday and Friday

So if you want the full package (Basic & Advanced Training & Conference)
you purchase T1 and T2.

If you only want the advanced training, you go for T2.

If you want to come to the conference only, you go for T3.

There's a nice graph as well here:
http://www.opennms.eu/opennms-user-conference-europe-2013/ouce2013-registration/ticket-types/

So far we have 15 (fifteen) registrations for the conference - with two
days of early bird rebate left. You can register on our website (
www.opennms.eu) to increase that number ;). That 15 is not counting the OGP
members we expect to come over from the US.

Our target was to be "some 50+ people" in Fulda - and if you have any idea
or suggestion how we could make that, let us (or me) know. Because one
thing is sure: This will be, content wise, the best User Conference so far.
We have great and interesting talks about the integration of OpenNMS with
other tools, held by users. That means that there's no marketing bla, but
hands-on knowledge and experience straight from the community. Having you,
the community, talk, brings the advantage that the OpenNMS Project and
Corporation people will have time to mingle and share, too. So if you were
wondering if you'll have the time to nail down Jeff on some OpenNMS feature
or ask Tarus about 3.0, well, we made sure he's not talking the whole time
(at least not on stage) :)

Looking forward to see you in Fulda,
Alex
